Heidi is our PR and sales manager. Her background has always been in some sort of service. She was a hair designer for the longest time but in the past 20 years, she has touched most corners of tourism.

She has BA in English and MA in Culture and Communication from the University of Iceland and has years of experience in PR and sales, mostly within the tourism industry. 

She grew up on a farm in South Iceland and is a true country girl in her heart.

People and culture have always been of interest to her and she has a passion for Iceland as well as to travel and experience other cultures and Scotland has been visited more than any other country by her. 

She's been a Tour Guide for almost 20 years and really enjoys showing off all the amazing locations Iceland has to offer and holds an extended driver's license and has been a part-time teacher at The Tour Guide School of Iceland for the past 6 years.

When asked what her favourite place in Iceland is she usually replies that it's like to pick a favourite child, but to her every part of Iceland is beautiful. 

However, to name a few Mývatn, Gjáin in Þjórsárdalur and the Westman Islands hold special place in her heart.

Her hobbies are traveling, socializing with friends, reading and she has a PADI license in open water and drysuit.
